ChameleonShe was a chameleon Eyes mismatched and multidirectional View myopic, sans-stereoscopic And I must admit When we met it bothered me a bit But the closer I got, the more I Saw them in a different lightChameleon
The skewed pupils Reminded me she was human, Which I must confess I would overlook from time to time
And sometimes, I could swear the off-kilter one was the better That as its partner watched me It was keeping an eye out for me Or maybe it was catching sight Of faeries and sprites And all manner of other things That would always remain &
